Los Angeles, CA (CNS) – Online fashion retailer Net-a-Porter.com constantly bets on the new trends that their shoppers will snap up. Now, they’re hoping to start a trend using the iPhone, where customers who log on to their site to shop for $4,000 couture dresses will do the same on their cellphone.
Net-a-Porter.com released the Net-App this week which allows shoppers to browse through the latest styles and make purchases. A ClosetFlow tool allows users to thumb through new products and add the items to a wishlist or complete the purchase on the application.
Other than providing the convenience for casual Net-a-Porter shoppers to shop anytime and anywhere, it also gives serious buyers the ability to purchase items without having to run to a computer. Some of the most popular items have sold out within hours of their online release.
The app also provides weekly fashion news for those who want to remain one step ahead in all things fashion. And while some of the items will run thousands of dollars, the Net-a-Porter.com Net-App is free and avaialble on the iPhone App store.
