London, England (CNS) – Twiggy goes back to using Oil of Olay. The former supermodel has been re-hired to be the face of the Procter & Gamble facial moisturizer – 25 years after she first campaigned for the brand.
The fashion icon – who rocked the modeling world in the ’60s with her androgynous look – fronted Olay in 1985 and worked there for 12 months. It was known as Oil of Ulay then.
Now, nearly 60 years old, she still has the face that has the beauty brand clamoring for more.
Twiggy has signed on to front the national marketing campaign for the next 12 months.
She was quoted by The Telegraph as saying, “I am delighted to be fronting the new advertising campaign for Olay Definity – like many women I trust Olay to meet my specific skincare needs.”
Olay in turn is “thrilled” to have her back.
Spokeswoman Sarah Clark said, “She is a true beauty icon who continues to be an inspiration to millions of women across U.K.”
