London, England (CNS) – Designer Jonathan Saunders has not appeared at London Fashion Week since September 2007, but today the British Fashion Council (BFC) announced that Saunders will be returning to London for the BFC’s 25 year celebrations.
The designer joins the likes of Burberry, Matthew Williamson and Pringle who have also announced their return.
Celebrities such as Charlize Theron, Michelle Obama, Sienna Miller and Thandie Newton have donned the designer’s goods in the past.
Saunders expressed his excitement, saying in a press release, “I am absolutely delighted to be returning to show in London this September. Showing in New York for the last few seasons has been an amazing experience for both me and the business.”
“However London has always been my home and where I have my studio. I am very much looking forward to being part of the 25th Anniversary celebrations of London Fashion Week and am grateful to the BFC for the invitation to return.”
London Fashion Week will be held at a new location this year, Somerset House, from September 18-22.
