New York, NY (CNS) – British fashion designer Stella McCartney is teaming up with GapKids and babyGap to design a new collection projected to launch in stores and online in November.
The new limited edition collection can be found in GapKids and babyGap stores in the United States, along with Canada, France, Ireland, United Kingdom and Japan.
McCartney discussed the new venture, saying, “For years now I’ve wanted to create a collection for kids… I believe that this one off collaboration will be a great way for customers to be able to participate in the Stella McCartney Brand. I believe that kids clothing should be more accessibly priced, which is particularly important at the moment given the current climate.”
McCartney, the mother of three and daughter of ex-Beatle Paul McCartney, is a noted vegetarian and does not use fur or leather, wool, silk and other non-lethally derived animal fabrics in her design.
