New York, NY (CNS) – New York City has declared May 5 as Chanel No.5 Day. The luxury brand kicks off “Train de Nuit,” the new Chanel No. 5 fragrance film starring French actress Audrey Tatou.
Fans of Chanel can stop in Saks Fifth Ave to catch a glimpse of the Jean-Pierre Jeunet-directed short or check it out online at ChanelN5.com. The store will beam the adverts on monitors placed in all of their 17 flagship’s display windows, WWD reports.
In addition, the brand will also erect new street signs that will read Avenue No.5 for this week, instead of the original and world-famous Fifth Avenue. The latest fragrance, 2.5-oz. size of Chanel No.5 Eau Premier, will be sold at Saks exclusively.
The campaign also includes a readily available make-up artist who will display the effects worn by Tatou in the Chanel commercial and in the upcoming biopic.
