Paris, France (CNS) – Fashion mogul Pierre Cardin has returned home after staying for two days in the hospital after fainting and falling earlier this week.
The 86-year-old was taken to a hospital in Marseille by helicopter on Tuesday, where he had undergone medical tests.
His spokesman Jean-Pascal Hesse said in a statement that doctors found the designer’s health to be “completely satisfying” and gave him permission to go back to work in a few days.
According to reports, the Italian-born French fashion designer was hospitalized for high blood pressure.
Cardin lives in Lacoste, a village in the south of France. He is currently restoring the chateau of the notorious aristocrat Marquis de Sade, according to the Canadian Press.
