Palm Beach, FL (CNS) – Palm Beach retailer and designer Lilly Pulitzer is bringing numerous celebrities on board to help raise money for a children’s charitable cause.
The Lilly Pulitzer “A Colorful Cause: Celebrity Designer Program” was established to celebrate the label’s 50th anniversary by supporting The Epidermolysis Bullosa Medical Research Foundation to help fight the rare children’s skin disease.
Actress Gwyneth Paltrow has teamed up with the designer to design a limited edition bikini for the program.
The celebrity designer program also boasts a fairly long list of other celebrities who have joined in the creative design process. It includes Brooke Shields, Debra Messing, Marcia Cross, Angie Harmon, Bridget Moynahan, Catherine bell, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Garcelle Beauvais-Nilson. The stars have joined the program to create limited edition prints for designs for “mommy-and-me” looks for both daughters and sons.
The new designs will hit store in April at Lilly Pulitzer stores across the country and online at lillypulitzer.com.
