New York, NY (CNS) – Retailer Topshop makes its debut today on Thursday, April 2 in the United States and along with the new store location, the store will be debuting Kate Moss’ Spring/Summer collection.
The new store will open in New York on Broadway and Moss will be attending the opening, along with the owner of Arcadia, Topshop’s parent company, Sir Philip Green and his wife.
Green told the press, “New York is one of those first three or four cities that every fashion brand wants to operate in.”
Topshop executives have claimed that the Manhattan store will be the first store, with 15 other stores to follow around the U.S. The store currently has around 300 stores operating in the U.K.
The new collection boasts influences from a combination of both the 1960s and the 1980s. The retailer is keeping the line affordable, with casual dresses coming in at a price tag of around $85 and jackets around $170.
