London, England (CNS) – Gwyneth Paltrow has been busy lately, with a lifestyles website, a new chain of gyms and a recent movie, the actress is now adding children’s fashion designer to the list.
The Oscar-winning actress has teamed up with ZOEtee’s, a French label, to design a collection of children’s clothing with all of the proceeds going Kids Company. The new collection is called ZOEtee’s Loves Gwyneth and will be released for Autumn/winter of 2009.
The details of the collection have not yet been released, but it is described as 1970s-inspired and said to include jersey basics, which ZOEtee’s is known for. The collection will be revealed in London next week.
According to the website, Kids Company is a charity based out of London that offers practical, emotional and education support to vulnerable inner-city children and young people, in particular those with severe emotional, behavioral and social difficulties, resulting from significant experiences of trauma and neglect. The charity also offers therapeutic and social work services in over 30 schools.
Paltrow, 36, has been a longtime supporter of the charity. In 2007, the actress cleaned out her closet and donated all of her old clothes to the charity for fundraising.
