New York, NY (CNS) – Yves Saint Laurent has inked a deal with Net-A-Porter to sell their range online. The exclusive deal will see the fashion house sell a complete range from their spring/summer ’09 collection.
These include kimono jackets, cocktail jumpsuits in sand and navy, as well as accessories such as a luxe evening box clutch, according to CatwalkQueen.
The main attraction of this capsule collection is undoubtedly the YSL caged heels, sported recently by Becki Newton at the Metropolitan Opera anniversary gala.
Net-A-Porter is also selling Stella McCartney’s exclusive summer range thus promising an impressive spring line-up through the site.
The site is one of the first major online shops carrying international luxury fashion. The London-based website was launched in 2000 by Natalie Massenet, a former magazine journalist and stylist.
It now employs more than 800 people in New York and London and claims to attract 1.8 million viewers per month.
