London, England (CNS) – Lenton-based online clothing store My-wardrobe.com has won two prestigious awards at the Drapers’ Etail Awards 2009. The awards, which were held at Sketch in London, come ahead of the fashion site’s third anniversary in April.
The e-tailor firm was awarded Overall Gold for its design, technology, customer service and product offering. The site also bagged an accolade for Best Etail Innovation. It has become a leading online destination to shop for vast range of designer labels including Anya Hindmarch, Paul Smith, Miu Miu and Mulberry.
Sarah Curran, founder of my-wardrobe.com told This Is Nottingham that she was “thrilled” to win the award and accepting the “Gold award was a complete shock.”
The company, which employs 45 staff, has launched a ground-breaking my-tv feature over the last 12 months. The feature allows users to access style advice while giving them the option to buy what they see there and then.
The site recently recorded 200 percent increase in like-for-like sales. Its new menswear range is anticipated to account for 20 percent of its total sales.
