Milan, Italy (CNS) – Just days after Victoria Beckham and Katie Holmes appeared in Armani and Miu Miu ads, it is Scarlett Johansson’s turn to turn the heat on. Johansson has donned the Marilyn Monroe look for the advertisement campaign of Dolce & Gabbana new cosmetics line.
The 24-year-old actress wears a corset and knickers for her role while lying on silken sheets. Scarlett strikes a Marilyn Monroe pose with her short blonde curls and ruby red lips.
The campaign is shot by Nick Knight, protege fashion photographer Solve Sundsbo. The range will include lipsticks scented with rose.
In other related news, Dolce and Gabbana are preparing another controversial campaign, reports Catwalkqueen. Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana claim that their next campaign will show men praying in the kneeling position.
The advertisement could upset religious groups. For the last five seasons the Italian house have been accused that their commercial campaigns are racist. Their campaign for 2007 was banned in Spain because it was considered to be offensive for women.
