Las Vegas, NV (CNS) – The latest fashion and cutting-edge technology are going hand-in-hand this week at the 2009 International Consumer Electronic Show in Las Vegas.
Although there are less scantily-clad models on the showroom floor than in previous years, there are still a few knockouts stealing the show, including the LG Prada II phone and its accompanying Prada Link Bluetooth watch.
Exhibited behind a glass display for gawkers to be able to see, but not touch, the LG Prada II phone comes equipped with features that include dual-band HSDPA, quad-band GSM, Wi-Fi, a full HTML browser, stereo Bluetooth, FM radio, TV-out, a document viewer, 60MB of internal memory plus a microSD card slot, a 5-megapixel camera, and a 3-inch capacitive multitouch display with active Flash UI.
What makes this phone different compared to the first LG Prada phone is its matching bluetooth watch that is meant to view instant messages, calendar items and contacts.
Word has it that the LG Prada II, which was expected to make its debut during Christmas, will be made available in Europe “soon” while there still isn’t a set date for a U.S. release. Pricing or availability for the Bluetooth watch is still yet to be determined. The LG Prada II will retail for approximately 600 euros.
