London, England (CNS) – British socialite and occasional broadcaster Peaches Geldof has reportedly signed a deal to launch a second collection with PPQ, this time with high street price tags.
Her first collaboration for U.K. high street retailer PPQ was a huge success and a new range will launch in the spring. PPQ has enlisted the 19-year-old style icon to design an entire “range to rival that of Kate Moss at Topshop,” says This Is London.
The Brit brand has also announced that the line won’t be “as cheap as Topshop.” PPQ designer Percy Parker told Heatworld: “We had a meeting to discuss expanding the range. We’re going to make it a lot more accessible, in different shops around the country and on the Internet.”
Peaches’ first collection included pretty party pieces from dresses and skirts to shorts and all in ones. Geldof wrote and presented her own reality TV program, Peaches Geldof: Teenage Mind in 2005, which was followed up with Peaches Geldof: Teen America, which aired on Sky One in the U.K. on March 2006.
Premiering in October 2008 was Peaches: Disappear Here, a MTV One reality show in which Peaches starts a new youth-orientated magazine. Initial audiences were small and critical response has been largely negative.
