London, England (CNS) – Christina Aguilera is said to be the next celeb designer for London fashion chain TopShop. Topshop owner Philip Green has asked the pop star to design a new collection for the label.
The “Genie in a Bottle” singer is expected to earn over $1 million per range that she will design for the Britain’s foremost fashion range, Mirror reported. Topshop also sells a collection by British supermodel Kate Moss.
However, the 28-year-old singer’s designs will not replace Moss’ and both of the stars will continue to do separate collections. Aguilera’s designs are expected to appeal to a younger shopper than Kate.
The 34-year-old supermodel has created seven collections since she was signed by Green in May 2007. Moss recently signed a new deal with Green for three more years and she will be developing lingerie and accessories on top of her fashion collections.
