Narciso Rodriguez To Release New Perfume "Essence"
New York, NY (CNS) – Narciso Rodriguez will be releasing a new women’s scent due out this spring called “Essence.” This will be the designer’s second fragrance and it will be released in the U.S. in March and globally in April.
The perfume is described as being airy and floral and will be released in limited distribution.
Rodriguez told WWD, “I wanted to create something that reflected the house, but something fresh and new.”
His first fragrance, For Her, was an eau de toilette which made its debut in fall of 2003 and launched with Shiseido’s Beauté Prestige International division. The eau de parfum version followed in the falloff 2004. He also launched his first men’s fragrance in 2007 called For Him.
The American designer’s celebrity clients include Salma Hayek, Claire Danes, Sarah Jessica Parker, Rachel Weisz, Sonia Braga and Michelle Obama.
