New York, NY (CNS) – Pop singer and ‘X Factor’ judge Cheryl Cole has been asked to launch a range of clothing for high street chain Topshop. There is speculation in the media that Sir Philip Green has asked the Girls Aloud star for her own Topshop line, on the advice of Kate Moss.
Kate Moss, who already has a collection at the store, convinced Cole to move into fashion. The supermodel hit it off with Cole, after becoming a regular in the X Factor set.
A source revealed to News of the World, ‘Cheryl and Kate instantly hit it off. They were both gushing about each other all night. …. It’s very likely to happen next year.’
Despite rumours that she stormed off the shoot because of a run-in with stylist, Bay Garnett, Cole is due to appear on the January ’09 cover of British Vogue, a real achievement for any celebrity.
