New York, NY (CNS) – British fashion designer Alexander McQueen will be designing a capsule collection for Target through their Designer Collaboration initiative.
The retailer has announced to WWD that the new initiative, which aims to bring well-established designers to the masses, will feature McQueen’s younger line McQ to their collection. The range will be called McQ Alexander McQueen for Target.
Leila Moss, lead singer for the Brit band The Duke Spirit, will be the designer’s muse for the collection.
Senior VP of Target, Trisha Adams, told WWD, “Both programs are geared toward our trend-minded guests who are always on the hunt for the newest and hottest looks at an affordable price.”
“This specific McQ Alexander McQueen for Target collection does have the potential to skew toward a slightly older guest compared to some of our other designer collections.”
McQueen’s collection will hit Target stores in March. The Designer Collaborations will be featuring other designers in the future for a limited time.
