Los Angeles, CA (CNS) – Designer Kevin Hall has brought old Hollywood glamour back in modern day California as he unleashed his spring collection at the Mercedes-Benz Los Angeles Fashion Week on Sunday.
His collection, influenced by film costume designer Gilbert Adrian, features tailored creations, crafted dresses and classic retro shapes.
Among the creations that gathered praises include a backless yellow chiffon gown in floral print with floating train and a silk chiffon dress in aquamarine with jewels at the neckline.
Hall also experimented with different hues and complex beadworks. His dresses vary from having tropical colors to navy and black.
His collection was anticipated by Hollywood stars in the front-row audience including Rachel Griffiths, Dana Delany, and Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon.
