Rachel Bilson Launches New Clothing Line "Edie Rose" At Macy's

Aventura, FL (CNS) – Actress Rachel Bilson, who came to fame as Summer Roberts on the television show “The O.C.,” launched her new clothing collection “Edie Rose” at the Macy’s in Aventura Mall on Sunday in Aventura, Florida.

Bilson, who has described her sense of style as “vintage,” has designed a line of juniors sportswear that includes everything from jackets to dresses to jeans and knits. Bilson helped create the line of clothing with Macy’s, and named it “Edie Rose” after her grandmother.

Celebrity News Service has learned that Bilson wants the clothing line to be taken seriously. The 26-year-old star of the movie “Jumper” said she doesn’t want her line to be thought of as just another line designed by another celebrity.

Edie Rose for DKNY Jeans will be sold from $19.50 to $49.50 per piece at department stores including Macy’s, Lord & Taylor and Nordstrom.

Bilson notes fashion icons Kate Moss and Diane Keaton as her inspirations and says her favorite designers are Stella McCartney, Zac Posen, Marc Jacobs and Chanel.
