Fashion flu is really starting to set in today, with both Anne Marie and I sneezing into our coffees, but I still love it really. Peter Pilotto and Meadham Kirchnoff put on a joint show, with Pilotto coming out first. A continuation of the kaleidoscopic and inter galactic journey, Pilottos prints resemble the natural world- smoke, light and shadows. Bright rainbow colours swirl together on stretch fabric, while prints are encrusted with stones and minerals. Pink and bright green shiny fabric shift dresses over leggings, teamed with a glistening wax jacket. Embellished beaded dresses created an unusual silhouette in fawn with rainbow prints underneath. A rainbow kaleidoscopic print dress was one of the focal pieces, while a more simple satin dress with a pleated front was commercial and wearable, but still beautiful.
