My last show of fashion week, and I feel like weeping into my red bull. Manic as it is, it feels as though it was all over in a second, and now I have to wait for a whole season for it to come round again. The first thing that struck me about this show was the shoes. Bare feet were bound with black leather, some ankle high and others knee high, with a wooden structure attached to the sole of the models foot. They were then made to balance on tip toes, as the walked carefully down the runway. A unique concept, but my did I feel sorry for their poor tootsies! Grey tailored jackets, with pink chiffon shirts, teamed with wrap around, high waisted 7/8th trousers. Chain and zip detailing was used throughout to add a rocky edge to the collection. A leather jacket, with expanded block shoulders, was teamed with a billowing silk shift dress. Pearlised kid leather was made into a cropped bolero jacket, while leggings in black and navy, with zip detailing, were the trousers. A geometric, architectural print was used on sheer chiffon, to create dresses and blouses. A maxi dress with metallic plaiting around the neckline finished of the show nicely. Nothing revolutionary, but a well put together, well accessorised collection.
