Victoria Beckham Debuts New Pixie Haircut At New York Fashion Week

New York, NY (CNS) – Leave it to Victoria Beckham to upstage even New York Fashion Week by debuting a new hairstyle at the Marc Jacobs catwalk show on Monday that sent the media and fashion fans into a tailspin.

Posh showed up to the show with a short brunette pixie crop, similar to the hairstyle Halle Berry wore when she was a Bond girl. Or maybe the hairstyle Audrey Hepburn made famous years before that. Or how about Katie Holmes’ new pixie from a few weeks ago. Although Victoria’s is shorter.

Either way, the new haircut got tongues wagging in New York. Victoria also debuted her new line of dresses in an appointment-only party open to fashion’s elite.

Celebrity News Service polled Posh fans to see what they thought of the new hairdo and the long and short of the new short ‘do is that people either love it or hate it.

“Wow, I love it on her, she looks very chic,” one fan said, while another quickly added, “I think she looks like a boy.”

Several fans thought the look suited her just as much as it suited Berry when she pulled it off in 2002. “I think Posh looks amazing and not many people can carry off such a short cut. But she is one of them. I just wish she would smile.”

Another fan added, “I think it looks horrible.”

Even those who aren’t fans of the former Spice Girl were up for adding in their two cents. “I think the cut is nice, just not on her.”
