If you wander on to Academy of Art University’s website you will immediately take notice that the school states it is “one of the top fashion schools in the nation with the most famous show in the industry.” That’s not hyperbole when you think of other school’s that hold fashion shows. Academy of Art University’s show this season serves the same purpose as pas shows: recruit, recruit, recruit! The fresh faced talent of the school put on quite a runway show and the tent was packed to the gills as a result.
Most of the collections shown from the top student designers at the school were well received. While you would be hard pressed to actually be decked out in the collection, the other purpose is to bring awareness to the talent coming from the school and that was accomplished with this collection.
