New York, NY (CNS) – While tennis pros battle it out at the U.S. Open, tennis fans will be keeping their eyes not only on the ball, but also on the fashions.
If you are in need of new tennis apparel, Celebrity News Service has discovered that the U.S. Open has opened a pop-up shop in New York’s SoHo neighborhood, at 129 Prince Street.
The store will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., seven days a week, through September 10.
The store will be selling a limited edition U.S. Open T-shirt designed by Heidi Klum. The tee, which looks to be long and form fitting, features butterflies that have tennis balls as their bodies. The shirt was drawn with Klum’s children’s crayons, and even features a little heart shape (replacing the zero) in the shirts title “U.S. Open ’08.”
The shop will also offer U.S. Open branded apparel officially licensed by the U.S. Tennis Association. Plus, if you are a fan of vintage clothing, then check out the stores vintage Tad Davis clothing line that captures the spirit of the 40th anniversary of the Open.
The 2008 U.S. Open started on Monday in Flushing, New York, and will run through September 7.
