London, England (CNS) – Upscale department store Harvey Nichols has hired clay molds to front their new ad campaign.
The British animated cheese-loving characters Wallace and Gromit will front the store’s new campaign.
Instead of his usual white shirt, green tank top, red tie, and brown trousers, absent-minded inventor Wallace dons a navy Alexander McQueen suit, Dolce and Gabbana shirt and Giorgio Armani tie.
While Gromit, his dog companion, is wearing a Paul Smith scarf and Ray Ban sunglasses in the new promo.
Wallace’s love interest, Lady Tottington, is also featured in the ads. She wears a floor-length Alexander McQueen black dress and Christian Louboutin stilettos, The Sun reports.
Wallace and Gromit are the main characters Nick Parks of Aardman Animation’s series of four British animated short films, a series of ten short-animated sequences, and a feature-length film.
The characters are made from molded clay and filmed using stop motion animation.
