"Gossip Girl" Debuts Great Fashion In New Season

New York, NY (CNS) – The CW show “Gossip Girl” debuted its second season Monday night with the gang all heading to the Hamptons, where they dressed to the nines while playing croquet, attending a White Party and all the while doing a little gossiping.

The show’s fashion designer, Eric Daman, talked about the cast during a press conference after finishing designing a “Gossip Girl” display window at NYC’s Bendel’s Fifth Avenue. “They’re all amazing to dress,” Daman said.

Celebrity News Service was impressed with the White Party the gang attended in the Hamptons during the show’s premiere. “I love Eric. He comes up with so many looks. He’s genius,” said Leighton Meester, who plays Blair on the show.

Taylor Momsen, who plays Jenny on the show, will have one of the bigger wardrobe updates this season. While being interviewed by reporters in front of Bendels, Momsen said her character started out the first season like a kid, dressed in plaid. She said this season Jenny would be dressed, “a little edgier, a little darker. Her dresses are getting shorter, her heels get higher.”

While Celebrity News Service enjoyed the fashions Daman dressed everyone it at the White Party, it was definitely Chuck’s outfit that stole the show while playing croquet on the lawn. Daman certainly knows how to dress someone for a good old game of croquet, and somehow Chuck, played by Ed Westwick, managed to pull it off. Now that’s something to gossip about.
