Kate Moss Speaks on Her Weight

Model Kate Moss is no stranger to controversy and in a recent interview talked about issues regarding her weight early in her career. The model who some in the press attributed the phrase heroin chic points out that she wasn’t happy with her weight early in her career. In the interview with Interview Magazine Moss states that she was “never anorexic, so I was never that skinny, I was never bony-bony. But I remember thinking, ‘I don’t want to be this skinny.” She goes on to tell Interview magazine later in the story that, she “didn’t eat for a long time… Not on purpose. You’d be on shoots with bad food or get on a plane, and the food would be so disgusting you couldn’t eat it.

“You go to a show, and there’s no food at all, so if you’re doing shows back to back, you can forget eating.”

Moss seems to have gotten over her weight issues but will apparently never get breast implants. Early on in her career she states that she wanted to be like Cindy Crawford. The issue of Interview is available on news stands now.
