Breakout fashion designer Ashleigh Verrier and her business partner/mother, Jude Verrier, have a message for women during New York Fashion week and beyond: be healthy, fashionable and beautiful all at the same time. The recent steady drumbeat of bad news about unhealthy fashion models and questionable weightloss habits has brought attention to a chronic problem in the fashion industry and with women at large. Verrier has teamed up with Viactiv to get her message out.
The Viactiv brand is launching the “Style and Stength for Life” initiative during New York fashion week. The aim is to promote healthy living and beauty while still juggling with all the things a modern woman deals with day to day. The Viactiv brand primarily produces multi-vitamin supplements and calcium products for the active woman.
In addition to the “Style and Strength for Life” initiative, Viactiv will be distributing a Fashion Week Survival kit to help attendees during fashion week be strong and beautiful. The kit will contain all types of essential products and Verrier’s personal tips on staying, beautiful, healthy and stylish during the arduous week of non-stop fashion.
