Fashion Rocks Performers Announced

The Conde Nast extravaganza that is Fashion Rocks is returning again for another season. Normally taking place during New York Fashion week, Fashion Rocks melds the entertainment industry with the spectacle behind the Spring showings of designer collections. Vogue’s Anna Wintour will also lead the Fashion Rocks Magazine that comes out during the season. The magazine features a cavalcade of fashionistas, rock stars, actresses, and other Hollywood types.

The Fashion Rocks show will air on tv with several big stars headlining. Already announced are Mariah Carey, Justin Timberlake, Beyonce, Rihanna Keith Urban, Chris Brown, Kid Rock, Fergie, Lil Wayne and the Black Eyed Peas. Richard Beckman president of Conde Nast Media group released said “Fashion Rocks uniquely celebrates the intersection of two of the most sexy cultural paradigms: fashion and music. This year, we have a spectacular lineup of talent and performances that will take the show to a whole new level.” The event will be held at Radio City Music Hall on September 5 and will air on CBS the following night.
