Model Ben Grimes Enters the World of Design

One of the former faces of the Burberry brand is looking to branch out on her own and create a line. Ben Grimes is taking her love of fashion to the runway, only this time she won’t walk in a show, her collection will be the show. Grimes has long had a passion for the design aspect of fashion and now she gets to take that love down the runway. The model turned designer has teamed up with close friend Lily Parker to create a capsule collection. Those familiar with Parker will recall that she has worked on Richard Nicoll’s line among others. The collection consist of silk separates and dresses all relaxed and flowing for the Spring season. It will be called LPBG (echoing the initials of both designers).
The design team looked at Vogue in the 70s for their collective inspiration and the line will take its design cues from the magazine of yesteryear. Grimes will show the collection during London Fashion Week in September.
