Vivienne Tam Joins Star Doll

Star doll, the virtual community with over 18,000,000 members worldwide and a never ending list of celebrities has a brand new neighbor. Vivienne Tam is bringing her sense of fashion and love of designing to the large and bustling community. The virtual world targets tweens and has seen various designers and celebrities join the ranks. Tam’s love of whimsical fashion and design looks to be a perfect fit when she finally arrives into the hallowed virtual halls. Tam is going to join a chat this week live with members of the Star Doll community, she will also be a judge in a virtual contest that had members create a design using the community’s software.

Vivienne Tam gets further entrenched later this year when she opens a virtual boutique where members can buy clothing and use Vivienne Tam avatars on the website. Fashion houses joining virtual worlds is nothing new. American Apparel was a charter member of Second Life and actually created a virtual boutique. Other members of Star Doll include DKNY and MaryKate Ashley.
