When the dust settled and the rhetoric ended Naomi Campbell eventually pleaded guilty. Campbell was charged earlier this year with police assault. The assault charged stemmed from a fracas in April at London’s Heathrow airport in which Campbell allegedly argued and hit a British Airways employee after the airline misplaced her bags. British Airways at the time was having issues with baggage handling and sorting at their new terminal in Heathrow. Hundreds of flights had been canceled and thousands of bags were misplaced. Police had to forcibly remove Campbell from the plane as a result of her tirade. Campbell pleaded guilty to 4 of the initial 6 charges brought up against her and commented through her lawyer that the incident was regrettable.
Campbell will be sentenced later.
