Heidi Montag's Heidiwood a Heidibust?
The Hills star Heidi Montag may need to keep her day job as negative reviews of her fashion line keep coming in. Apparently Heidiwood was thrashed by New York Magazine in no uncertain terms calling Heidiwood “overpriced and flimsy”. The normally cheery crowd of bloggers (tongue firmly in cheek here) have gone on record to say as well that “this is the worst fashion line in the history of fashion lines”. New York Magazine continued the hatefest against Heidiwood by also saying ‘No self-respecting grown woman should allow herself to be seen in these garments’.
Thinkfashion.com probably has one of the most descriptive reviews with this piece.
“There’s just one problem. The clothes are terrible. Heidi’s line is a combo of trashed-up stripperwear and beachy-blah t’s and minis – a strange mix, but nothing we don’t see every Saturday when we hit the Old Navy then follow up with a lap dance at the local strip bar”
The line debuted to the public in Hollywood yesterday. Only time will tell whether the public agrees with the press. As it stands now though, Heidiwood may end up being a non-starter in the fashion world.
