Victoria Beckham’s Fashion Line Not Selling?

Victoria Beckham got a dose of bad news this past week as news outlets are writing about the premature demise of her fashion line. According to several news sources Beckham’s line was unceremoniously dismissed by stores like Kitson and Fred Segal. Coincidentally those are the only two stores named in the reports. As DVB is privately owned it’s not entirely clear how many stores exactly carry her line. Fraser Ross, owner of Kitsons was quoted as saying that Beckham has not helped with PR efforts in getting the word about the collection out. He stated that celebrity lines need the celebrity front and center to get the line moving out of the stores. Ross later backtracked refuting his earlier assertion on Vogue’s UK site the following day stating that the line is doing just fine and the rumors are much ado about nothing.
