George Clooney Fashion Line Hoax Being Investigated

Two people were brought up on charges in Milan accused of creating a fashion line using George Clooney’s name. The caveat here is that they never received permission from Clooney to use his name or likeness for said clothing line. Clooney stated that there was no fashion line featuring his name and any such attempts at creating one was some sort of cruel joke. Tax police in Milan said the seized garments and watches bearing Clooney’s name that apparently were to be put up for sale to the masses. Clooney tipped off police last month after reports began surfacing that someone was attempting to sell a clothing line using his legal name George Timothy Clooney. Clooney later released a statement saying:
“If someone tries to sell you clothes or watches that are based on me, don’t buy them.”
