London Fashion Week Fall 2008 : Peter Jensen

Quirky as ever, Peter Jensen had constructed tents on the stage, which the models appeared from. A geeky camping trip vibe was present throughout the collection. These were the sorts of bird watchers you wanted to be friends with. A brown and cream jumper with a fox knitted onto it, combined with braces and turquoise shoes. Flannels suits in autumnal hues were placed with orange shirts, retro, geeky but super cool. Forest prints abound with lovely cord shorts and a modern take on the barbour jacket. Dr Martens boots appeared in patent, perfect for a groovy forest ramble. A skirt made from tinfoil- almost as though it had been constructed along the way. A slightly homemade feel to some of the outfits, actually gave it an originality and fitted with the theme. I hope Jensen invites me next time he sets off into the wilderness.
