One student is chosen every year from this prestigious London design school, and this year it was Pierre Garoudi. White on white suit jackets and tux shirts opened the show with refreshing and minimal simplicity. Gold sprayed Puma bags festoned large neckstraps, creating male necklaces, of a medalion-esq flavour. Panneled knitwear and high waisted skirts with golden metal belts lent a touch of lady to the womenswear. Aqua boys sashed alongside grey sack like dresses, ladys tux jackets and monocromed patterned dresses. A simplistic, clean and beautiful collection, it made me want to shout from the fashion rooftops, to other young designers not to over accesorize clothing, that in fact simple is best.
