London Fashion Week Fall 2008 : Gareth Pugh

A much hyped up show, running shortly after Fashion East and in the same venue, I was intrigued to see if Pugh could hold my attention more that the likes of Noki. Braided hair and albino makeup, shaded with aqua tones, created warrior-like models to display Pugh’s armour on. Asymmetrical hemmed coats, with long haired furry collars, Gothic diamond shaped leather skirting and arm pieces. Mythical knights and maidens, touched with a wand of Shoreditch goth and structured with pure genius, Pugh excelled himself once again this season.
