London Fashion Week Fall 2008 : Armand Basi

In a great banqueting hall Armand Basi served up the new flavours for his AW08 collection. Tangerine leather was molded into bubble skirts, drop waisted circle dresses were printed with emerald green and aqua blue. Full length cocoon gowns, twinned with diamante encrusted heels left you gasping for fashion breath. An individual take on a skirt suit, in candy pink with bell sleeves and a giant balloon skirt. To add a touch of psychedelia Basi tied head bands and belts to models, with bubbles of fluro colours attached. As mad and unwearable as his SS08 collection, the gods painted on the ceiling and the spectators were truly inspired! one of my very favourites.
