London Fashion Week Fall 2008 : Eley Kishimoto

There is so much to say about Eley Kishimoto’s eclectic collection, Bonny Bunny was aptly named, as bunny’s fought with giant polka-dots for centre stage. Flamingo’s stalked up the runway their feathers printed onto other pieces. Forever the retro vibe, knee high socks were printed with Mondrian-esq squares. Long fringes a-go-go, tweed bow ties and patent heart printed clutch bags. All clash rules disappear as Eley Kishimoto does stripes, polka dots, cubes, florals, feathers, bunny’s, hearts and diamonds all on the same runway. A fascinating confusion of mustard, primary greens and cherry reds, neon pinks and deep purples. Wonderfully quirky, beautifully eccentric, a dreamy dreamy collection.
