H&M has teamed up with long running organization Designers Against Aids to combat the epidemic. The collaboration will give birth to a line of clothing that will be sold in H&M’s stores. The line will be backed by celebrities like Rhianna, Timbaland and more. The collections aim is to bring awareness to the disease. Although growth rates fell dramatically in the late 90s and 00s the disease is beginning to see an upswing according to CDC reports. H&M’s campaign in tandem with Designers Against AIDS will also work with celebrities and artists to take the message to an international audience.
The collection which is made up of hoodies, sweaters and sweatshirts will launch February 2008.
