Eric Wilson of the New York Times looks at Marc Jacobs and the recent controversy surrounding his recent New York fashion show, his personal life and erratic behavior in his article entitled “Loving and Hating Marc Jacobs.” While Jacobs has won many awards over his long career in the industry, he still focuses on putting together innovative pieces and shows that set the trends for the season. He also bristles at those that call him crazy. The designer fights back against the recent negative press telling Wilson,
“I’m starting to get very paranoid as to why it feels like so many people are against me, personally, at this point. Despite whatever rumors you may have heard, I’m not out of my mind.”
