Spring Break or Bust…
Samantha Cabrera
March brings out better weather, flowers and the teenager in all of us. Much like September reminds us of getting ready for back-to-school, March makes most of us want to gear up for the ever-exciting spring break getaway. You may not be able to take a vacation, but here are few things essential to taking you to helping you escape, even for a moment.
As the weather warms up, nothing looks better than going natural. Of course that may or may not always be the best option. Amp up your natural look with Chantecaille Super Lip Sheers ($26, eluxury.com). Packed with Vitamin E, they’ll keep your lips looking soft and delicious without hassle. Our favorite shade is Milky Way: the perfect nude for day or night.
Ever feel like the work day is just dragging slower than molasses on the Fourth of July? Get a handle with a fun, quirky timepiece like Marc by Marc Jacobs Cherry Charm Watch Necklace ($125, eluxury.com). While it may not be appropriate for every work environment, it sure as heck will put a smile on everyone’s face if you figure out how to work it in.

Our favorite tabloid fixtures were wearing them two years ago, and shockingly enough, they still do. Always stylish, and definitely spring break-worthy, are Dior’s Glossy sunglasses ($320, eluxury.com). What’s even better this year? They’re now available in a transparent brown, which goes with black, brown, and just about everything else in our closet.
With the fragrance market so inundated with something for everyone, it’s hard to come across something that’s perfect for everyone. Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Eau de Toilette: Pamplelune ($50, eluxury.com) is a refreshing combination of lemon, vanilla and bergamot creating a gorgeous opulent fragrance perfect for spring. It’sfeminine, light and won’t give you a headache once the days start to get steam.
Because nothing, and we mean nothing, says spring like an Emilio Pucci Lava Print Silk/Cotton Scarf ($110, eluxury.com) wrapped around your head. Or your waist, or your bag…it’s up to you. Our only suggestion is that you keep it alarmingly bright.
