It is not that difficult to understand men. While no two men are alike, there are enough similarities to brush aside accusations of stereotyping the gender. We have our likes and dislikes. We have our quirks. We have our routines that the opposite sex will find difficult if not impossible to break. Yet, we still manage to confuse and bewilder our feminine counterparts. (at least we’d like to think so)
The truth is, women figured us out a long time ago. They just try to forget some of the things they already know. Have I lost you yet? Good.
I’ve tried to persuade our editor-in-chief to do an issue dedicated to men time and time again. It’s an interesting topic specifically because I am one and I know many. We love being the center of attention because we need help. We need fashion help, we need psychological help and most of all we need help understanding you. So in this issue, Papierdoll and it’s band of editors and contributors look at creating “the look” for men. We help women figure out the intricacies behind getting the man in your life to look good. Really good.
While this is a men’s issue, Papierdoll still does what we do best; from an article in the Scope section of the magazine that looks at appreciating self image, to the guide to men’s essentials. It is all here in our June issue. If the testosterone overload is too much for you, head over to the newly redesigned Thriftychick website. There you will be able to select your personal picks and rummage through all of our fashion must haves. The women come back next month, so in the meantime enjoy the reading.
