The decade of the eastern European model continues on with the latest winner of the Ford Supermodel of the year announced. Last week Wednesday in New York, Katie and Eileen Ford crowned Katsia Damenkova of Belarus 2005 Ford Supermodel of the World. This prestigious title entitles her to a $250,000 modeling contract, first dibs on major modeling assignments and other perks that come with the Ford agency name. Damenkova went up against 39 models -almost all in their teens- in the grueling competition.
Runner ups include Annika Vohta from Estonia, Rosanne Doosje from the Netherlands and Chanel Iman from the US. Each won $50,000.Philippine’s Charo Ronquillo won third place and a $100,000 prize. Bojana Reijic of Canada took the second place prize of $150,000.
