Lucy Sykes, the Marie Clare editor-turned-childrenswear-designer has just launched a new women’s line. The 21 piece collection, Lucy Sykes New York, is set to launch this spring. It consists of Swiss Dot blouses and shirt dresses, floral-print button front skirts, sleeveless linen shifts, short-sleeved beaded cardigans, and fine gauge navy-and-white-striped sweaters. In a change for the fashion industry, the collection was designed and manufactured in New York.
In an interview with Fashion Wire Daily, SYkes decribed her line as “eclectic and fun, with a European joie de vivre sensibility.”
It will debut this spring in stores like Addict, Plum, Harros, Bloomingdale’s and Bergdorf Goodman with prices ranging from $275 and $395.
