The news has got to get better for Kate Moss. After British tabloid The Daily Mirror uncovered drug use from Kate Moss, the waifish model came out and admitted she had used cocaine as recent as a week ago.
H&M’s original tone was one of support for Moss. The quickly changed their tune and released a statement that basically dropped Moss from any future ad campaigns.
The statement simply said, “After having evaluated the situation, H&M has decided that a campaign with Kate Moss is inconsistent with H&M’s clear dissociation of drugs.”
Moss is still under contract with brands like Burberry, Dior and Chanel. A major deal that may be in jeopardy is her contract with Rimmel. Rimmel is a make-up brand targeted to teenage girls.
In 1998, Moss stated that the partying and drug days were behind her.
