Mega-Giant retailer Wal-Mart held a major event in Time Square this past Monday. Instead of being an invitation only event, Wal-Mart opened the event up to the public by taking it to the street.
The fashion show was held at The Good Morning America street-level studio and featured brands such as White Stag, No Boundaries, Faded Glory, and George.
With the fashion show basically happening in the middle of the street, customers and media got a first hand view of Wal-Mart’s ongoing attempt to go upmarket a’la Target.
Models walking the runway were from the UPN reality show America’s Next Top Model. See our previous report on Wal-Mart going trendy
