While there is no name for the line yet, Alexander McQueen and Puma are charging ahead in a collaborative effort.
The new line will see men’s and women’s footwear designed by Mcqueen displayed during London’s Fashion Week.
In a statement to the press Jochen Zeitz, Puma’s chairman and chief executive officer said, “Alexander McQueen is one of the most creative minds in fashion, and his collaboration with Puma will make his work accessible to a broader customer.”
This comes on the heels of the successful line launched by Adidas and Stella McCartney.
Puma sales increased 19% last year.
While not the first collaborative line for Puma it does seem to be a very promising endeavor.
Papierdoll will be at London fashion week this year to cover the new line.
